Young adults are invited to Zoo Miami for a scary experience. Dress in your Halloween costume and experience a 7,000-square-foot haunted house featuring live actors. Thurs., Oct. 31- Family Movie Night at West Perrine Park, Free

Fri., Nov. 1- Deering Estate’s Spookover, $65
The lights will be off at Deering Estate as guests will be taken into a late night paranormal investigation of the historic houses and main grounds. Activities will be going on overnight, but organizers say it’s not a sleepover. Dress comfortably and bring a flashlight, camera, mosquito repellent, and ghost detecting equipment.
