Spooky South Florida Halloween Events

Halloween events will take place throughout South Florida.

Now through Oct. 31- Dr. Wilde’s Creepy House at Zoo Miami, $5+

Stroll through Zoo Miami with the kids and enter a 7,000-sqaure-foot haunted house that will make you scream. Note: Parental Discretion is advised for young children. Thurs., Oct. 31 Halloween Fright Night at Zoo Miami, $12

Young adults are invited to Zoo Miami for a scary experience. Dress in your Halloween costume and experience a 7,000-square-foot haunted house featuring live actors. Bloody wine and beer will be on sale. Children under the age of 14 are not recommended to attend. Admission is $12 per person. Zoo Miami is located at 12400 SW 152 St. in Miami. Thurs., Oct. 31- Family Movie Night at West Perrine Park, Free

Watch an outdoor screening of “Hotel Transylvania” with the family on Halloween night. Free popcorn, candy and hot-dogs will be provided. West Perrine Park is located at 10301 SW 170 Terr. in Miami. The event begins at 6 p.m.. For more information, call (305) 235-2053.

Fri., Nov. 1- Deering Estate’s Spookover, $65

The lights will be off at Deering Estate as guests will be taken into a late night paranormal investigation of the historic houses and main grounds. Activities will be going on overnight, but organizers say it’s not a sleepover. Dress comfortably and bring a flashlight, camera, mosquito repellent, and ghost detecting equipment.
