South Florida in for Hot, Windy Memorial Day

If you are making plans for the Memorial Day weekend across South Florida, make sure to keep a cold drink handy as it is going to be a hot and dry holiday across the area.

Friday will see rain chances around 20 percent for the day and highs in the upper 80s – while for Saturday, Sunday and Monday the rain chances are all 10 percent or less, but make sure to watch for just a stray shower or two coming in from the ocean.

Winds out of the east between 10 and 15 miles per hour with gusts up to 25 miles per hour will leave South Florida with a high risk of rip currents each day of the holiday weekend.
