South Florida Deals With Soggy Thursday Morning as Strong Storms, Flooding Hit Area

Parts of South Florida dealt with quite the soaking Thursday as heavy storms hit the area.

A Flood Advisory was in effect for parts of Broward County until 12 p.m. for cities including Fort Lauderdale, Pembroke Pines, Dania Beach and Hollywood.

Several areas reported between two and three inches of rain already - including a record 3.38 inches for Fort Lauderdale - with another one to two inches predicted as the day goes on.

Miami-Dade County saw its share of rain, though not as much as in Broward.
