South Florida Postal Worker Stole Credit Cards From Residents, Made Purchases: Authorities

Postal worker rang up more than $13,000 in purchases on stolen credit cards: Authorities.

A South Florida Postal worker was arrested after she stole credit cards from residents and used them to make purchases totaling over $13,000, authorities said.

Alzet Parker, 51, was arrested and charged with fraudulent use of credit cards, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said in a release Thursday.

According to the report, Parker, of West Palm Beach, was captured on store surveillance video using the stolen credit cards to make purchases while wearing her US Postal Service uniform.
Parker was arrested and taken to the federal courthouse. The case was turned over to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

The Palm Beach Sheriff's Office believes there are more victims, especially in the Margate area, and are asking anyone with information on the case to contact authorities.
