Technical issues on the Southwest Airlines website, mobile app, and reservation center are slowing down flights nationwide.
The glitch is requiring Southwest to check in passengers manually as they arrive for travel.
Southwest is asking flyers to arrive at least two hours prior to their scheduled depatures to help minimize delays.
As of 1 PM EDT, nearly 250 Southwest flights out of approximately 3,600 total flights (6.9%) have been delayed.
At least five flights were delayed at Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Aiport.
