A middle school student in Miami-Dade is in serious trouble after causing quite a scare this morning on board a school bus.
Police responded to Cutler Bay Middle School after they were notified of a student who had a weapon. After finding the student and searching him, authorities found a toy gun and confiscated it.
According to Miami-Dade Schools Police, their units responded after a driver in a car said a student pointed a gun at her out of a school bus. She gave the number of the bus and officials connected it to the school.
School officials would not go into detail about what punishment the student would receive, only saying it would be addressed according to the school’s code of conduct.
