Five students were hospitalized after suffering from an illness at a school in Miami-Dade Tuesday.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews responded to BridgePrep Academy Village Green on Southwest 120th Street after children started complaining of illness, officials said.
The school was evacuated so fire rescue could do a hazmat sweep, and five students were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
School officials said the results of the hazmat sweep weren't available, but they were told no chemicals were found.
The all clear was given at the school and students were given an early dismissal.
