Stuntin' Like My Daddy: Birdman Wants to Join Dolphins VIP Boardroom

The Birdman, AKA Bryan Williams, says he is waiting on clearance from the NFL

The Miami Dolphins' street cred is about to go through the roof and this time it has nothing to do with an arrest of a player.

Reports are surfacing that owner Stephen Ross is looking to add to his VIP minority boardroom, and the latest candidate is none other than the Birdman, a founding father of Cash Money Records and the man who discovered Lil Wayne.

Don't ask us how this move makes sense, but all we know is that it is really cool.

The Birdman, whose real name is Bryan Williams, took the potential plans to the radio airwaves Monday on a radio show.

"It's in [the] works," he told Angela Yee on the Morning After Show on Sirius Radio. "You have to get clearance from the NFL and we're waiting for clearance. Once we get clearance, we good."

It's nice to see Ross has updated his iPod from the Miami Sound Machine and Jimmy Buffett, but we didn't know he was into the streets like that. Let's just hope Ross doesn't show up at his next press conference with platinum and diamond teeth, but would that really be a surprise?

The Birdman hails from New Orleans, but spends a ton of time in Miami with Lil Wayne when Weezy isn't locked down in a New York penitentiary. Apparently, the Cash Money Crew are Dolfans.

Can you imagine the type of tricked out cars pulling up in front of Sun Life Stadium on 30-inch tires if Birdman walks the Orange Carpet? We can.

If the deal is approved, Birdman would join Venus and Serena Williams, Gloria Estefan, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony as part owners of the franchise.

Once again, sorry
