High pressure is in control and drier air is still in place. We can expect a mostly sunny day with only an isolated threat of thunderstorms across inland areas. Highs will be in the lower to mid-90s, but heat index values will surpass the 100-degree mark.
For the work week, we will continue to keep an eye on the tropics as Tropical Storm Cristobal moves WNW into the Atlantic. Even though South Florida is out of Cristobal's track, there is still a large spread in the guidance.
