Sunrise Man Accused of Making, Possessing Child Pornography

A Sunrise man who runs an escort service website is being accused of filming and possessing videos of himself having sex with underage girls as well as paying two of them.

Neil Greenberg, 60, was arrested Monday after the U.S. Marshals Service shared a tip about a possible human trafficking case involving a 17-year-old girl, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff's officials said Greenberg had 36 videos of him having sex with girls as young as 14 years old. Authorities also found Greenberg paid to have sex with at least two teenage girls who were younger than 18, BSO said.

Greenberg faces 72 counts of possessing child pornography and promoting sexual performances by a child, BSO said. He faces an additional count of unlawful sexual activity with certain minors and another count of unlawful use of a two-way communication device for acts committed between March 2017 and February 2019.

Greenberg appeared in bond court Tuesday, where his attorney argued that the charges he's being accused of happened in 2002 and 2003 and that they had reached the statute of limitations.

He's being held in Broward County jail on more than $1 million bond, online records show.

Greenberg also manages an escort website, and BSO is asking anyone who thinks they were victimized by him to call Det. Michael Joo at 954-888-5327.
