Supervised Visitation Granted to Parents Found Passed Out in Car With Kids

The mother and father found passed out in a car with their two young children in Miami tested positive for drugs, officials revealed in court Thursday.

Carlos Roboyras-Rodrigues, 35, and Catherine Lobb, 26, were granted supervised visitation of their children at Thursday's hearing.

It was revealed that both tested positive for cocaine and THC following their arrests on child neglect charges Tuesday. According to police, an officer found the 2-month-old and 2-year-old kids in the backseat of the car which was stopped and running in the middle of Northwest 7th Avenue Tuesday morning.

The children were found dirty and malnourished, police said. Roboyras-Rodrigues and Lobb were disoriented when they were found in the car, according to police.

On Wednesday, a Miami-Dade judge gave custody of the children to their father's sister. The parents have been allowed supervised visitation three times a week.
