Authorities are searching for a suspect who fled officers and bailed out of a vehicle in Opa-locka Friday.
According to Miami-Dade Police, officers from Opa-locka tried to stop the suspect, who is wanted in a battery case, around 3:30 p.m. The suspect, who was driving a red Camaro, fled and a chase ensued.
The suspect bailed out of the car in the area of Northwest 117th Street and Northwest 17th Avenue.
No other information was immediately known.
