A suspect is in custody after a shooting in Lauderhill led to a police pursuit that ended in Fort Lauderdale Thursday, authorities said.
The incident began when someone was shot in the 5400 block of Northwest 16th Street, Lauderhill Police said. The victim's injuries were unknown.
A car fled the scene and led officers on a chase which ended in the area of 31st Street and Sunrise Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale Police said. A suspect was taken into custody at the scene.
No other information was immediately known.
