Three suspects were in custody and a fourth was on the run after the stolen car they were in crashed into a police car during a pursuit in Miami Tuesday, authorities said.
Miami Police said officers were responding to an armed robbery at the Family Dollar at 7200 Northwest 2nd Avenue when they spotted the stolen SUV and tried to stop it.
The SUV fled but crashed into a police car in the area of 73rd Avenue and Northwest 2nd Avenue, police said. Two suspects were taken into custody but two others fled. One was eventually caught but the other remained at large.
Police haven't released the names of the suspects or what charges they face. It's unknown if the stolen car is related to the armed robbery.
No other details were immediately known.
