Suspicious Bag Cleared at West Palm Beach Airport

Authorities were investigating a suspicious bag at Palm Beach International Airport in West Palm Beach on Thursday.

According to the Transportation Security Administration in South Florida, TSA discovered a suspicious bag at about 6:10 p.m.

They called an Explosive Ordnance Disposal assist, and closed the bag room and evacuated the checkpoint while assessing the bag.

With assistance from the EOD team, the bag was cleared and the area reopened at 7:20 p.m., according to airport officials.

There's no word on who owned the bag or whether they were allowed to take the bag on-board or allowed to fly.
