Another Cold Front Arriving in South Florida Wednesday as Temps Could Reach 40s Overnight

After South Florida saw some of the lowest temperatures in nearly two years earlier in the week, a second cold front will keep you reaching for that sweater for a few more days.

While the lows Wednesday morning will be slightly higher and may reach the mid 50s, another cold front expected to come in later in the day will bring another round of cold temperatures by nightfall into Thursday morning – including lows projected to be in the high 40s for some areas.

Friday and Saturday will bring a return of warmer temperatures as the area will be seeing highs close to 80 degrees and temperatures returning to average or slightly above by Monday with highs in the low to mid 80s and lows in the 60s.

The first round of cold air brought lows across South Florida that reached into the low 40s in some areas. Miami had a recorded low Tuesday morning of 48 degrees, the coldest since January 24, 2016.
