A Sweetwater market still in the middle of fulfilling Thanksgiving orders won't be able to assist customers this year after an overnight fire left the building severely damaged.
Fire crews responded early Tuesday to the La Bodega Bestway Supermarket, located at 11400 West Flagler Street in Sweetwater.
The fire was contained to the back of the building. Crews say the building sustained a partial rear roof collapse and sustained significant damage to the back of the business.
Supermarket owner Lazaro Acosta tells NBC 6 that they've been in business for 15 years and were still fulfilling Thanksgiving orders, but won't be able to now because of the fire.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
