The Miami-Dade Police Department said a 16-year-old was shot while he and a friend were filling up at a gas station on Thursday.
The victim was driven by his friend to the North Shore Medical Center. He was then airlifted to Jackson Health System's Ryder Trauma Center, where he is listed in good condition.
The teen was shot at a Citgo gas station at 1201 NW 103rd Street at about 6:30 p.m. He was shot while sitting on the passenger side of a black Honda Accord.
