Man Arrested For Allegedly Stabbing Teen at Miami-Dade Metrorail Station

A man has been arrested after a teen was stabbed at a Metrorail station in northwest Miami-Dade Thursday night.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said the 14-year-old victim was walking with another man shortly after 10:30 p.m. near Northwest 41st Street and 21st Avenue when they saw two men about to fight.

The teen tried to break up the fight but was stabbed in the shoulder.

Emergency officials rushed the teen to Ryder Trauma Center, where he was listed in stable condition.

Police said 49-year-old James Mack was taken into custody. He now faces a charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
