Spanish language television viewers will witness history next Monday March 12 when Telemundo Network News lead man Jose Diaz-Balart brings an unprecedented interview with Univision’s head anchor Jorge Ramos during the Telemundo evening news.

Shot inside the Books and Books bookstore in Coral Gables, the open dialogue style interview between the two leading Spanish language journalists in the United States will feature a discussion that will cover the present and future of the Latino Community, the impact of the Trump presidency, journalism, activism as well as Ramos’s new book “Stranger” among other topics.
“This is the first time we are doing this. We’ve owed it to each other for the last 30 years,” Ramos said.
Jorge Ramos who was very vocal against Donald Trump during his campaign for president of the United States took time to promote on his Twitter account the upcoming interview by saying “Breaking walls. Univision/Telemundo soon a conversation with Jose Diaz-Balart.
This unprecedented face-to-face encounter between the two rival anchors airs next Monday March 12 at 6:30pm ET during the Telemundo evening news “Noticias Telemundo”.
