Burglars targeted numerous unlocked vehicles in Weston, stealing a $700 recording interface, cash, credit cards and tennis rackets, according to the Broward County Sheriff's Office.
The incident occurred on March 30 between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m.
"While their victims slept, thieves entered six unlocked vehicles," BSO wrote in a statement. "The man and woman went from block to block accessing the cars in the 1600 blocks of Eastlake Way and Newport Lane."
BSO said one of the suspects was later seen on surveillance video using a victim's credit card at a Chevron located at 12607 W. Sunrise Blvd.
"The man is described as having a thin frame and short-cropped hair. He wore a long sleeve black shirt and black drawstring pants," BSO wrote. "The woman wore a tank top, pants and sneakers. Her long hair was pulled into a ponytail."
