Three people were injured, two critically, after they were involved in a serious car crash early Friday morning, Miami Fire Rescue confirms.
Just before 10 a.m., crews were paged out to a crash involving an SUV and a compact car, as well as a person lying on the ground.
Crews found two women trapped inside the compact vehicle, neither of the women were breathing.
Teams extricated both women and performed CPR. They were taken to Ryder Trauma Center.
A third patient, the driver of that SUV, was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Miami Police are continuing to investigate the accident.
