Police are investigating a shooting at a North Miami Beach intersection that left three people in the hospital.
The shooting occurred 16700 Block of NE 6th Avenue, while the victims were inside their vehicle.
Police say the victims were in a vehicle traveling on 6th avenue when someone opened fire.
The three victims drove themselves to the emergency room at Jackson North Hospital after sustaining the injuries.
North Miami Beach police say one victim was shot in the head, one in the abdomen and the other in back. As a precaution two victims were transported to area Trauma Hospitals. The victim’s condition are unknown at this time.
Officers immediately began to search the roadway and found several bullet casings at the scene. Because the victims drove themselves to the hospital, investigators say they have no idea what led to the shooting.
