This Saturday, hundreds of cyclists, runners and walkers will hit the streets of South Florida for a cause: The 2018 Dolphins Cancer Challenge.
The event, which was launched in 2010, aims to raise money for cancer research, according to the website. Proceeds from the massive event will be donated to the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.
The race spans across the region, with various runs and rides scheduled for Boca Raton, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Davie and other cities. A large turnout is expected and numerous road closures have been planned in anticipation of the crowds.
