A woman is lucky to be alive after a Tri-rail train crashed into her vehicle in Miami-Dade.
The train clipped the back of her vehicle on Tuesday evening on Northwest North River Drive near 36th Street.
The driver said she didn't realize she was in the train's path until she saw its lights. She managed to pull up just enough to avoid a direct impact with the train, which had begun to slow down.
No one was seriously injured.
The 50 passengers on the train were bused to their destinations.
