Triple Shooting Kills One, Injures Two in NW Miami-Dade

Police are investigating a triple shooting that left one person dead and two others critically injured in northwest Miami-Dade Friday evening.

Miami-Dade Police said two of the victims were standing outside of a home on the 1000 block of NW 148th Street just before 7 p.m. That's when a white vehicle, possibly a Ford Taurus or Chevrolet Impala, opened fire on the men.

One victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Paramedics rushed the second victim to a local hospital in critical condition.

Investigators said a blue Honda was seen fleeing the area. When officers stopped the car, they discovered a person inside the vehicle suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

That victim was also transported to the hospital in critical condition. Investigators are working to determine what involvement, if any, the Honda had in the shooting.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at (305) 471-TIPS (8477).
