Police are looking for a group of suspects who stole a truck loaded with $2.5 million in cell phones and perfume from a cargo business in northwest Miami-Dade last month.
The theft happened the night of July 6 at Excel Express Cargo at 8430 Northwest 66th St., Miami-Dade Police said. Surveillance video caught the suspects unloading the merchandise, which the shipping company says was worth closer to $3 million.

At least four men scurried to unload the goods onto a pickup truck, the video showed.
The cargo truck, which was parked in front of Excel Express, was later found empty on the 7900 block of Northwest 64th Street.
Its Venezuelan-bound cargo mostly consisted of smartphones such as iPhones, BlackBerrys and Samsungs, but also included computer equipment, auto parts, medical supplies and perfumes.

Raidy Parra, the manager of Excel Express and the son of the owner, said he doesn't want to think it was an inside job, but acknowledges it may have been.
Asked how much the theft hurts the business, he said, "Oh, it's a huge deal, it has been a huge deal for us, we really hope they catch these guys, it's really hard, it's really hard."
With no insurance, Excel Express is struggling to pay off the business that was trying to ship the goods, Parra said.
Excel Express has been shipping cargo to Venezuela for nine years.
