Truck Spills Over 25 Gallons of Gas on I-95 in Miami-Dade, Lanes Closed

Two I-95 Southbound lanes closed after truck spills gallons of gas.

An 18-wheeler spilled over 25 gallons of fuel on Interstate 95 in Miami-Dade, causing two southbound lanes to close near Northwest 95th Street Tuesday morning.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue arrived to the scene but has not been able to plug the leak, saying there are possibly 50 to 75 gallons left.

The oil spill only involved the 18-wheeler and it is unknown what caused it.

Express lanes were not affected.
