Turnpike Employee Busted for Grand Theft

Pompano Beach service station worker stole $89,000: FHP

A South Florida Turnpike employee has been arrested after police say she stole over $89,000 by altering service station paperwork.

Ida-Marie Klohr, 32, was arrested for grand theft on April 15, the Florida Highway Patrol said Friday.

Klohr, an employee of the Shell service station at the Pompano Beach Service Station, is accused of altering paperwork to create an overage of cash.

The FHP says Klohr pocketed the money for her own personal use in a scheme that ran from July 2010 to December 2010.

A warrant was issued earlier this month.
