Two Gunned Down Outside Miami-Dade Bar

Two people were gunned down early Saturday morning along US-1, police said

A fatal shooting early Saturday morning left two people dead in Goulds, police said.

The incident happened in the parking lot outside The Shack Lounge on 21855 South Dixie Highway after a fight broke out, officials said.

Adrienne Clayton told NBC 6 she helped raise one of the victims and considered him her own son. “It was shocking. That was my son, basically. A wonderful, loving person,” said Clayton, who is the lesbian partner of the victim’s mother.

Patrons of the popular hangout spot told NBC 6 they heard gunshots around 3 a.m.

“Everybody take off and running, I just take off myself,” said Louis Jhony, who was at The Shack during the shooting. “It's a little place where everybody hang out every Friday night."

Bobby Lee Brown, who identified himself as the father of the other victim, said his son leaves behind four kids.

"I got a phone call three o clock in the morning, my son got killed and I'm hurting. He was an innocent victim. The dude swung on him. My son dug up on it," Brown said.

US-1 between SW 217th and SW 220th Street remained closed Saturday morning in both directions.

Officials have not yet identified the victims.
