Two men were arrested after police say they stole items from a Northwest Miami-Dade high school – after they were caught on camera leaving the scene.
Police charged both 22-year-old Efrain Uribe-Valdes and 25-year-old Keyavin Larkin with one count each of burglary and grand theft.
According to an arrest report, a surveillance camera located in a baseball dugout at Miami Springs High School caught both men leaving on August 8th with various items, including a laptop and projector. The school’s coach reviewed the tape and contacted a third party, who said Larkin and Uribe-Valdes would return the items to the school.
When the men arrived Monday afternoon, they were taken into custody. Larkin also had a warrant out for a previous marijuana charge.
