UCF Student From Coral Springs Arrested For Allegedly Videotaping Girls Inside Bathroom

A 21-year-old Coral Springs man was arrested after allegedly videotaping girls inside a bathroom during a recent cheerleading camp on the campus of the University of Central Florida.

Jonathan Hui, who is a student at the school, was charged with multiple counts of video voyeurism for the incident Wednesday inside the bathroom at the college’s CFE Arena.

According to NBC affiliate WESH-TV, UCF police say Hui was videotaping the girls from a stall inside the bathroom when one of the campers noticed Hui’s phone and notified her coach. That coach, along with a football player for the school, chased after Hui and captured him inside a Starbucks on campus.

When questioned by police, Hui allegedly said he had planned to send the videos to friends. Police believe he was trying to delete the videos before they arrived to arrest him. Hui said he would later apologize to the victims.

Hui has bonded out of jail and has been temporarily banned from the campus of UCF, while it is unclear if he will be expelled from the school.
