The U.S. Census Bureau is seeking to hire temporary workers in Broward County ahead of the 2020 census.
Clerks, census-takers, recruiting assistants and office operations supervisors are among positions available.
"Every ten years the U.S. Census Bureau counts residents across the country. A correct count is critical for Broward County as Census numbers are used to determine federal representation and funding of [federal] programs," Broward County Complete Count Committee Chair Nan Rich said in a statement. "It is vitally important that influential leaders and residents of our community participate in the work of the Complete Count Committee and subcommittees to accomplish a complete and accurate count."
