The East Bascule Bridge of the Venetian Causeway near Miami Beach has reopened after it malfunctioned early Saturday.
The bridge was only open for marine traffic until it was later fixed for motorists and pedestrians.
Miami-Dade County officials recommend drivers to take the MacArthur and Julia Tuttle Causeways as alternate routes when the bridge malfunctions.
