Authorities say a Grammy-nominated DJ from Venezuela died over the weekend after he was hit by a vehicle while walking in Orlando's tourist district.
The Florida Highway Patrol reports that Luis Borges died early Sunday after being hit by an SUV in an area between Walt Disney World and a strip of outlet stores.
The driver of the SUV told state troopers that he didn't see 33-year-old Borges until he hit him because of the dark.
Borges was a member of the electronic and Caribbean music group Caseroloops. Their album, "Afronauta," was nominated for a Grammy Award three years ago.
