Police released surveillance video Tuesday showing the fatal car crash at a Publix in Hollywood.
The crash happened just before 3 a.m. Monday at the grocery store on Young Circle.
Hollywood Police said 24-year-old David Paul-Lamour was behind the wheel of a 2006 Cadillac STS heading westbound on Hollywood Boulevard at a high rate of speed when he lost control and slammed into the back of the store.
The short video shows the car crashing into the Publix from outside and inside the store.
Paul-Lamour, who wasn't wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the car and killed at the scene. His passenger, 20-year-old Roxana Villa, was wearing a seatbelt but was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital in critical condition.
The crash remains under investigation.
