Police in Davie are searching for a man who was caught on camera beating a juvenile with a pool cue.
The incident happened Friday at the Toscana Apartment complex at 5971 Toscana Drive, Davie police officials said Thursday.
The victim and a friend were drinking coffee when the man hit him in the head and face twice with the pool cue, police said. "Do you remember what you did to my sister?" the suspect yelled at the juvenile, according to police.
Surveillance video showed the suspect playing pool nearby with another man just before the attack.
The juvenile, who was hospitalized after the attack, said he doesn't know the man or anyone who is his sister.
The suspect was described as between 25-29 with an average build and long brown curly hair. Anyone with information is asked to call Davie police at 954-693-8200.
