A bomb scare at the Volusia County Justice Center turned out to be false alarm.
The center's parking lot was blocked off Friday afternoon after authorities say someone left a package wrapped like a Christmas present against the tire of a prosecutor's vehicle.
The bomb squad responded, but the sheriff's office reports that the package only contained a wallet and a sweatshirt.
Authorities would not say which prosecutor owned the car. The Daytona Beach News-Journal said the prosecutor was not allowed to keep the sweatshirt and wallet, because it was taken by the bomb squad.
