Crews Called to Water Main Break in Oakland Park

A driver hit a fire hydrant on Oakland Park Boulevard, causing a wet mess Friday morning.

No one was seriously injured in the incident that happened near Northeast 6th Avenue and Oakland Park Boulevard.

Traffic heading eastbound on Oakland Park Boulevard was limited to one lane, as workers were working to stop the water that was spewing, and were trying to clean up the roadway.

There's no word on what caused the driver to lose control and hit the fire hydrant.

The car was eventually towed away from the scene.
