Weather Forecast: Mostly Sunny and Breezy in South Florida Monday

Bright sunshine will dominate with highs in the upper 80s.

Breezy conditions will continue across South Florida Monday, providing another day of dangerous rip currents.

But bright sunshine will dominate again as highs reach 89.

Showers and storms will be quick to return to the local weather pattern by mid-week as tropical moisture returns to the region. This should spell chances for showers and storms nearly each day for the remainder of the work week, leading into the weekend.

Tropical Storm Chantal is still moving swiftly through the Tropical Atlantic with winds of 40 mph. Tropical Storm Warnings are up for islands in the Lesser Antilles.

Though South Florida remains in the long-range cone, there is a great amount of uncertainty if there will be any impact on the local weather by the weekend.
