Weather Forecast: Partly Sunny and Windy Monday in South Florida, With High Rip Current Risk

A weekend cold front has dropped humidity across South Florida but has opened the gates for strong winds in the forecast.

Monday will be partly sunny and windy with a high of 83.

A strong, steady breeze will settle in and keep the region’s rip current risk elevated through Wednesday afternoon. Minor coastal flooding is possible around high tide on the bay side of the barrier islands, the National Weather Service said.

Conditions will be breezy and partly cloudy Monday night, with temperatures around 75.

Tuesday should be partly sunny and windy with a high of 84, while Wednesday is expected to be partly cloudy and breezy, again with a high of 84.

By Thursday, the breeze should break but humidity will return, along with warmer temperatures. The high Thursday will be 85.

Rain chances remain low across the area for the next several days. Nothing more than a passing shower on the breeze is anticipated.
