Higher than average temperatures and dry conditions are going to make for a warm and sunny Sunday.

Temperatures are about five degrees warmer than average, with highs at 85 and lows in the upper 70s to lower 80s.

The UV index will be high and there will be a high risk of rip currents in area beaches, with a moderate chop on the bay and a slight breeze.

Conditions are expected to remain mostly warm and dry through the start of the week, except for a slight chance of scattered showers Monday.

A weak frontal system will move through South Florida on Tuesday, bringing some scattered showers on Wednesday and drier conditions by the end of the week without a dramatic change in temperature. Highs will be in the low 80s.
