If you have outdoor plans in South Florida to start the weekend, you might want to change them – or at least grab an umbrella as the latest front moves through the area, bringing cooler weather with it.

The front is forecasted to come through the area as early as overnight Friday into Saturday morning, bringing with it a 40 percent chance of showers and an isolated thunderstorm with high temps in the lower 80s.

By Sunday, the rain chance drops down to 10 percent with much less humidity in the forecast and highs in the mid to upper 70s.

Starting Monday, South Florida will see a few days of comfortable and seasonable weather with clear skies and highs in the mid-70s and lows in the lower to mid-60s across the area through Wednesday morning – with some areas dipping into the upper 50s.

By Wednesday afternoon, the warming trend continues with highs pushing 80 degrees before showers chances return to the forecast by the end of the week.
