What’s Open, Closed for Labor Day in South Florida

It's Labor Day, and while some local services in South Florida are impacted, others are not.

Always observed on the first Monday in September, Labor Day is a national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity and well-being of our country, according to the U.S. Department of Labor.

Here's a list of what's open and closed for the holiday:

ALL public libraries
ALL U.S. post offices
Broward County offices
Miami-Dade County offices
Palm Beach County offices
Monroe County offices
Broward courts
Miami-Dade courts
Note: MOST banks are closed, check with your local branch for information
