It was a drug deal gone wrong for a south Florida man who texted the wrong person while looking to score.
William Lamberson, 29, of Port St. Lucie, was looking for a drug "hook up" when he began texting what he thought was one of his friends. Instead, he was actually texting the Narcotics Unit Captain of the Martin County Sheriff's Office, according to a post on the MCSO Facebook page.
After several days of conversation, Lamberson arranged a meet-up to sell some cocaine. Unfortunately for him, he was greeted by Martin County narcotics detectives.
Lamberson was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell.
