A woman and her daughter were able to escape unharmed after their car went into Biscayne Bay in Miami Monday.
The incident happened in the area of 20th Street and Bayshore Drive when the brakes on the woman's car went out, Miami Police said. The woman and her daughter escaped before the car became completely submerged.
Both were expected to be okay. The car was pulled out and towed from the scene.
