A South Florida woman was arrested after authorities say she arranged to have her cheating ex-boyfriend robbed at gunpoint.
Sarah Nicole Matherly, 22, is facing robbery with a firearm and extortion charges following her arrest in Hollywood. She was ordered held on $7,500 bond at a hearing before Broward Judge John Hurley Wednesday.
According to the arrest report, Matherly lured her ex-boyfriend to a home in Hollywood. Once inside, he was met by a group of men.
Matherly went into a bathroom while the men robbed ex, and told them "don't forget his f-ing" chain," said Hurley. One of the men reportedly put a gun to his head during the robbery.
The home was a "smoke house" where people go to take drugs, Hurley said.
Matherly later contacted her ex and told him, "that's what you get for cheating on me," Hurley said. She also threatened him with robbery if he didn't give her cash, Hurley said.
At the bond court hearing, Matherly's attorney argued that she was in another room and didn't know about the robbery.
