A woman was rushed to the hospital Monday after an early morning car crash in Hollywood that may have been started with a shooting.
The crash took place just after 4 a.m. in the 500 block of South 61st Way, where the car was seen crashed into several trees. Police said they received a call about the crash just after getting a call about a shooting in the same area.
The female victim, who was not identified but was inside the car, suffered injuries that Hollywood Police said were consistent with the crash as well as the shooting.
She was rushed to Memorial Hospital's trauma center and her condition has not been released.

Police have not released details on the shooting at this time or any possible suspects.
