A Dania Beach woman took matters into her own hands when a man stole her purse from her car over the weekend at a neighborhood gas station.
Janelle Della-Libera was filling her car up at the Mobil off Stirling Road when surveillance video shows a man opening her car door and stealing her purse.
Della-Libera went after the man, jumping on the hood of his car in an attempt to get her purse back. She continued to hit the man with her wallet before falling off the car as the man drove off.
She suffered minor injuries when the man ran over her leg, but is expected to make a full recovery.
