Man Charged in Murder of Ex-Girlfriend: Miramar Police

A woman was found stabbed and beaten to death after an apparent domestic altercation with her ex-boyfriend in Miramar Wednesday, police said.

Miramar Police said a witness called 911 to report the altercation at a home in the 8500 block of Sheraton Drive and when officers arrived, they found the woman's body.

The victim was later identified as 41-year-old Suzette Brown.

Miramar Police said Pierre Masseau Limousin has been arrested and charged with the murder of Brown, his ex-girlfriend.

Limousin, 44, was being held without bond Thursday. It was unknown if he has an attorney.

According to the arrest report, the witness reported seeing a man dragging a screaming woman into the house.

When officers arrived Limousin was seen walking away from the home and to a car. An officer called out to him but he fled in the car, the report said.

Officers attempted to follow the car but it was lost in traffic. Limousin later tried to report his car as stolen in Hollywood, the report said.

Limousin told detectives that he and Brown, who had dated for 12 years, had recently broken up over mutual infidelity, the report said.

Limousin said he had gone to her home and they were in a heated conversation when he lost control and physically attacked her, the report said.

He said he used a knife from her kitchen in the attack but thought she was alive when he left because she was wheezing, the report said.

Limousin put the knife in a bag and threw it out of his car window, the report said. It was later found by a passerby on Miramar Parkway.
